What Ajuma provides

A place to publish job openings and to apply to them. We review postings before they go live and remove ones that break the rules below, but we are not a party to anything you agree with an employer, and we do not employ anyone on their behalf.

Your account

• Use your own name and an email address you control.
• One account per person. Verification codes are sent to your email, so keep access to it.
• Do not share your account, and tell us if you think someone else has got into it.

If you are applying for work

• What you put in your profile and your CV should be true. Employers make decisions on it.
• Apply to roles you want. Bulk applying to everything wastes your time and theirs.
• You keep the rights to what you write. You give us permission to show it to the employers you apply to, which is the point of applying.

If you are hiring

• Post real openings at your own organisation, with a real description of the work.
• Never ask a candidate for money, for a fee to be considered, or for bank or payment details. This gets an account removed.
• Use applicant information only to fill the role it was sent for. Do not sell it or pass it on.
• Close a role once it is filled, and give a reason when you reject someone. The product asks for both.

What we remove

Postings that are not real jobs, that charge candidates, that discriminate unlawfully, or that exist to collect personal data. Accounts that impersonate someone else, harass people through messages, or scrape the site. We can suspend an account while we look into it, and every such action is logged.

What we do not promise

We do not promise you a job, an interview, or a reply from any particular employer, and we cannot guarantee that everything an employer writes about itself is accurate. Reviewing a posting is a check, not a warranty. If something on the site looks wrong, report it through support.

Your data, and changes to these terms

How we handle personal information is set out in the privacy notice. If these rules change we will update this page and say what changed.
